About Us

Jackie Brennan is the Director of FreshIdeas Events and has over 15 years experience in marketing, communications, event and project management in leading companies in the UK and Ireland.  

While women are certainly becoming more and more successful in business, there are still a smaller number of women who own and run businesses compared to men and less women in senior positions.  This prompted Jackie and a group of business associates to organise a very successful Women in Business conference in 2006 and from this FreshIdeas was developed.  

There are many more areas in which we can continue to support female business owners – we look forward to matching many more women with experienced mentors, providing a facility which will allow business owners to swap skills and services and expanding on our calendar of events.




Enterprise UK Ambassador


Jackie Brennan is an Ambassador for Enterprise UK, the CBI\IOD backed national campaign to give people in the UK the confidence, skills and ambition to be enterprising - to have ideas and make them happen.
